Every project has its own unique requirements, but the process usually goes something like this:
Start here. We need to know where we're heading. This is where we ask a lot of questions, figure out the "Why" of the video, and really understand its purpose. We'll also talk about branding and the overall vibe of how this creative project should feel. Strategy creates an outline which allows us to filter our decisions, it will influence every decision moving forward. We look at the bigger picture as for how a video can be a valuable asset, and work backwards from the delivery - where and how it will be used.
There are a multitude of options for what we can make as a video - The Concept stage is where we'll decide what type of video will fulfill the purpose outlined above.
We may go as far as creating storyboards, or at the least list the key points of what needs to be included.
We will also collaborate to write scripts if they are needed for the project.
Once we have a plan in place, we prepare to make things happen. We look for locations and get any necessary permissions, find talent, schedule crew
The fun part where cameras come out and we get to put all our previous work into practice. Everything up to this point will have taken place so that the production can be efficient and so that we capture everything we need, in the way we need to.
